A practical & embodied workshop to mark the true beginning of the year

Not another goal-setting workshop.
Not another vision pulled from social media or productivity culture.

This is a recalibration. A chance to begin again — from what actually matters to you.

From Values to Vision is a 90-minute in-person and online workshop designed to help you reconnect with your core values, shape a vision that feels honest and sustainable, and anchor it deeply in your body through Yoga Nidra.

Because when your vision is rooted in your values, action stops feeling forced — and momentum becomes natural.

  • This workshop is for you if you:

    • feel ready for a gentle reset

    • want clarity without pressure

    • are tired of chasing goals that don’t feel like yours

    • value both practical tools and embodied practices

  • No — absolutely not.
This workshop is open to everyone. You don’t need any experience with journalling, coaching, or Yoga Nidra. Everything is gently guided and accessible.

  • Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative, guided relaxation practice.
It involves no movement at all — you’ll simply lie down (or sit comfortably), listen, and rest while being guided through the practice.

  • A sankalpa is a short, heartfelt intention rooted in your values.
During the workshop, you’ll be guided to clarify your sankalpa through journalling and reflection, and then gently anchor it during the Yoga Nidra practice.

  • Both.
The first part of the workshop is practical and reflective, helping you clarify your values and shape an aligned vision and action board.
The second part is embodied and restorative, allowing everything to integrate through Yoga Nidra.

    • A notebook or journal

    • A pen

    • Comfortable clothing

    • Bottle of water

    • For in-person participants: anything you’d like to stay warm and cosy during Yoga Nidra (blanket, jumper, socks)

Online participants will receive guidance on how to create a comfortable space at home.

  • Yes.
The workshop is offered both in-person and 💻 online.
Online participants will be fully guided and included throughout the session.

  • This workshop is offered live only to keep the space present and contained.

  • Not in the traditional sense.
This workshop focuses on values before vision, helping you move away from externally-driven goals and towards clarity that feels honest, sustainable, and aligned.

  • No, but tea will be provided. Please bring your own snacks and a bottle of water.

  • There’s free parking at Zen Studio and along the roads.

  • If you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Why this workshop exists

So many of us set goals based on what we think we should want.
More success. More productivity. More doing.

But when a vision isn’t aligned with your values, it quietly drains your energy, clarity, and motivation.

This workshop invites you to:

  • slow down the noise

  • step out of comparison

  • reconnect with what truly matters

  • and move forward with intention, not pressure

This is about alignment before action.

What we’ll explore together

✦ Values Before Vision

You’ll be gently guided to uncover your core personal values — not aspirational ones, not inherited ones, but the values that genuinely guide your energy, choices, and wellbeing.

We’ll explore where your current goals may be shaped by:

  • society’s expectations

  • social media narratives

  • “new year, new you” pressure

…and bring you back to what feels true.

✦ Vision With Integrity

From this grounded place, you’ll create a values-aligned vision — one that reflects how you want to live, not just what you want to achieve.

No hustle. No overwhelm. Just clarity.

✦ From Vision to Action

Instead of a purely visual or abstract vision board, you’ll create a simple action board:

  • how your values show up in everyday life

  • what alignment looks like in real choices

  • small, realistic next steps you can actually take

This is where insight becomes lived practice.

✦ Yoga Nidra Integration

We’ll close with a deeply nourishing Yoga Nidra practice by the wonderful Kathryn, guiding you into rest while anchoring your values-led vision at a subconscious level.

This is where intention settles into the body — supporting clarity, trust, and ease moving forward.

What you’ll leave with

  • Clear understanding of your core values

  • A vision rooted in alignment rather than pressure

  • A practical action board you can return to

  • A sense of calm, clarity, and direction

  • A regulated nervous system and grounded energy

Who this workshop is for

This workshop is for you if:

  • you feel called to reset — gently, intentionally

  • you’re tired of chasing goals that don’t feel like yours

  • you want clarity without hustle

  • you value both practical tools and embodied practices

  • you’re ready to begin again from a place of alignment

No prior experience with Yoga Nidra is needed.
