Trails & Twilight is a relaxed, seasonally aligned evening experience combining an easy trail run, forest sauna, and a nourishing supper.

We’ll move gently on the trails, then slow right down — warming up, sharing food, and reconnecting with nature and community around a firepit as twilight settles in.

This is about presence, connection, and mindful movement — not pace or performance.

We’ll move gently on the trails, then slow right down — warming up, sharing food, and reconnecting with nature and community around a firepit as twilight settles in.

Join my unique Trails & Twilight event at Happy River in Wareham Forest and at The Retreat New Forest. Unwind on an easy and slow ~4 km trail run on the Sika Trails or the New Forest paths, followed by sauna & cold shower, and delicious, plant-based dinner. If the weather allows, we’ll light a fire and have nice conversations around the fire pit at twilight.

Evening Flow:

  • 5:50 – 6:00 pm: Arrival & Welcome

  • 6:15 pm: Trail Run (~4 km; if you’ve done a park run, you’ll be absolutely fine)

  • 6:45 pm: Mobility & Reset

  • 7:00 – 8:00 pm: Sauna & cold shower

  • 8:00 – 8:45 pm: Dinner

  • 8:45 - 9:15 pm: Closing circle around the fire (if the weather allows)

Locations

Trails & Twilight takes place in two beautiful outdoor settings. Simply select your preferred date and location when booking. Parking is available for free at both locations.

Trail Run Details:

The trail run is designed to be accessible and beginner-friendly, while still feeling rewarding.

  • Locations: Wareham Forest (Sika Trail) or New Forest paths

  • Distance: ~4 km (If you’ve done a Parkrun, you’ll be absolutely fine.)

  • Elevation: ~30 m

  • Terrain: trails & gravel

  • Difficulty: easy

Each location offers the same Trails & Twilight experience — just shaped by the landscape around it.

The run is optional — if you don’t feel like running on the day, you’re very welcome to relax and enjoy the venue instead.

 

Meet your host

Hi, I'm Tamara - The MindFuelBody Coach

I’m an accredited Hypnotherapist, Nutritionist, Personal Trainer and UESCA-certified Ultra Run Coach, with over seven years of experience supporting and empowering individuals on their journey to a holistic wellbeing. Integrating mindset, movement, and nutrition, and emphasising the profound connection between the mind and body. Alongside this, I’m currently training to become a qualified Mountain Leader and a Counsellor & Psychotherapist, deepening my connection with the outdoors and expanding the way I guide others through wild landscapes - both inner and outer.

For many years, I lived an unhealthy and unhappy life, feeling disconnected from myself. As a teenager, my doctor told me I would never be sporty or fit because of the thyroid medication I had to take, which was devastating at the time. Years later, through a personalised training and nutrition plan, I transformed my health - losing 19kg, regaining my vitality, and discovered my passion for ultra trail running and IronMan triathlons. This journey taught me resilience, self-belief, and the importance of living a lifestyle aligned with who I truly am.

Gradually, I started to spend more time in nature, and through those small steps, I began to reconnect with myself and others on a deeper level. For me, trail running, especially ultra distances, became my teacher, showing me resilience, patience, and what it means to meet myself at my edges.

The heart of my work, through MindFuelBody, lies in recognising the power of nature as a space for reflection, healing, transformation - a place to breathe. Whether through 1:1 holistic run coaching, group events, retreats, hiking, or mindful movement on the trails, I help others reconnect with their inner self - that part of us that knows how to adapt, transform, and rise. Finding their roots in movement, nature, and their mind-body connection.
